The Wamala Project

[1]. Introduction

I am Jin Kim, pastor of River of Life Church International and President of California River of Life University. Our church started an educational mission, and started California River of Life University in 2018. In year 2019 our first branch campus started in Uganda. As the branch campus grew fast I appointed Dr. Stephen Kayongo who is the pastor of Nsangi Fellowship Church as Dean of Africa Campus.

Because of the COVI19, our work changed to ZOOM. After teaching through ZOOM we have many students from many different countries including Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria, South Africa, etc. In addition, with a hard work of Dr. Kayongo our branch campus expanded rapidly. In 2 years we have more than 12 branch campuses including South Sudan branch campuses.

In 2023 I met Dr. Lukas and his wife who has his own Bible College in Indonesia, and discuss about the possible branch campuses in Indonesia. After they went back to Indonesia, he informed me that he is ready to start a branch campus in Bandung where he lives. Then he informed me that another Bible College in Medan Sumatra, Indonesia wants to join our university. In result we accepted all of their graduate school students as our graduate students.

In April of 2024 Dr. Adeshina who started Sloan Logos Theological Seminary in Nigeria texted me that he wanted to his Bible College to be adapted to our university. I learned that he had been watching our University late 2 years, and then made this decision. After serious discussion over the matter we reached the agreement. We accepted their 880 students as our university student. However undergraduate students will be taught in their site. After complete all the requirements for graduation the student will inform to the central office to take a graduation test. After pass the graduation test the student will receive the diploma. The Graduate School student will take a course directly through Zoom.
In return I appointed him as West Africa Dean of California River of Life University.

As our university grew rapidly I regularly pray for Africa branch campuses with displaying the Africa Map in my computer monitor. Then September 5 of 2023 I saw a lake near the capital city of Uganda. I was curious, and zoom in the lake, and it shows the Lake Wamala. As soon as I saw it I felt a strong spiritual tension. I immediately knew that there is a fortified stronghold. So I researched about the area and asked Dr. Kayongo about this also. He said many witchcrafts live in this area.

As I pray for this area I felt a stronger spiritual warfare. And then I felt that God wants me to lead a revival in this land and heal this land. Because of strong spiritual warfare and busy schedule for the church and university I do not want to do it. However I texted to Dr. Paul Ang in Singapore whether should I lead a revival to heal this land. He replied that Go will heal this land. If I don’t do it God will use somebody else and will do it.

As soon as I received his text message I felt that it was God’s will and I must do it. So I prayed more seriously every day. Then God gave me this vision; build a Prayer Mountain and Resurrection Center.
So I prayed to God that how many acres of the land should I buy? I prayed for this matter for weeks after weeks. Then God gave me this thought that once the land is healed the land price will be up at least 3-5 times than now. Furthermore the road will be expanded then the price will be much higher.
So I check the land price in that area through our students.

This lake is 0nly 45 miles from the capital city Kampala. There is a paved international road from Kampala to Mityana to Fort Portal and to Congo. This road passes the north side of the lake and only 5 miles from Mityana. The price of the land is more than $12,000 – $14,000 per acre. But the land where the witchcrafts live are cheap; $4,500 per acre now.

Since ancient times the pagan worshipers in this lake area performed the human sacrifice. Nowadays they perform animal sacrifice. This area is dirty, unhygienic, and dangerous. There are broken abandoned houses and pagan worshipers’ altars. Because of these reasons this area is confusing and unclean spiritually. In result the land price is cheap now. But when we lead the revival in this area and drive out unclean spirits out the land price will be up significantly.

Because this reason I prayed and prayerfully thought about this situation for weeks after weeks. Then the Lord gave me a vision; build a Prayer Mountain and Resurrection Center. After I prayed several weeks the Lord gave me a vision which is following;

1]. Buy 10 acres of the land.
2]. 5 acres for the prayer mountain and named “River of Life Prayer Mountain” and 5 acres for resurrection center named “River of Life resurrection Center”

So I obeyed and decided to follow the vision. And I draw the blue print of the Prayer Mountain and Resurrection center is below the page.

Because I know this area is the center of the evil spirit in Uganda I decided to have a revival “Wamala Revival 2024” and asked my students to have a worship and pray for the revival. Because the Wamala pagan worshipers worship every Wednesday at 10:00 PM till the midnight we have been worshiping at 10:00 PM in Uganda time, and 12:00 noon in California time since the first Wednesday of April.

After a month, in May I had a dream. In the dream there is a man who preached in that land which we are planning to buy it, and there are so many people young and old black white and yellow come from all over the world listen to his preaching and they are so happy.
